Marlody D. Noda is a bilingual (Spanish) School Psychologist in the Child Study Team (CST) for an urban public school district in New Jersey. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) .She is an advocate for special education and rights of parents and students. She is able to review Individual Education Plans (IEP), attend IEP meetings, make recommendations, review and interpret psychological and educational reports and assist parents with special education law and NJ code. Marlody also serves as a translator for parents in which English is not their native tongue
Marlody graduated with her Master's degree and Educational Specialist degree from Seton Hall University and her ABA specialty classes from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) She has experience in case-managing students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and multiple disabilities. Working with this population is Marlody's passion which led her to continue her education and has a graduate certificate in behavioral studies. Marlody also delivers ABA services as an in-home behavior therapist. In addition, Marlody is trained in Handle with Care, a method of crisis prevention and restraint. Marlody looks forward to working and advocating for her families
Vanessa Beibide-Zanetich (AKA The Special Education Teacher) is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Masters Degree in Special Education and a graduate certificate in Behavioral Studies in Autism. She has worked with children as a teacher for over 15 years in general education and in special education settings.10 of those years she has served as a teacher for students with Autism delivering ABA services, specifically Verbal Behavior and Discrete Trial Training. For the last 3 years Vanessa has been working as an B.C.B.A. supervising home services, delivering parent training services, social skill programs and consulting in schools.
Vanessa has experience in assessing for relevant skills and creating programs using tools such as the ABBLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS and Vineland 3.
Currently, Vanessa creates and supervises in-home ABA based programming focusing on skill aquisition and socially relevant skill instruction. She consults in schools focusing on socially appropriate behaviors, data driven instruction and ABA programming. She trains and consults with teachers using evidence based instruction.
